Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. Create invoices with no signup, watermark or usage limit. Cloud accounts are not part of this first release.

Will my logo and invoice details still be here next time?

Yes, when you return with the same browser and website address and its storage is intact. Your logo, company profile, draft and saved invoices are stored locally on that device. Download backups to avoid losing them.

Are my invoices uploaded to a server?

No. This version runs in your browser with no invoice-data submission to a server. Clearing site data or using another device means local information may not be available.

How are taxes, discounts and currency conversions calculated?

Line-item values are summed, discounts are deducted, tax is applied to the discounted subtotal, and other fees are added. Payments reduce the balance. An optional Naira conversion requires a rate you enter; there are no live exchange rates. Always confirm tax and invoice requirements in your jurisdiction.

How do I get a PDF invoice?

Click Save as PDF and choose Save as PDF as the print destination in your browser. The printed document contains your own branding and no Student Innovation Lab watermark.
