Student Project Showcase – June 13, 2025
What happens when students stop learning just for the grades… and start learning to solve
real-world problems?
You get a room full of confident, creative minds showcasing how far they’ve come and
how far they’re ready to go.
On June 13, 2025, the entire Mita School community came together for one of the most
powerful and inspiring events of the year, our Student Project Presentation.
This wasn’t just another school day.
This was the moment students stepped into the spotlight to show not just what they’ve
learned, but who they’ve become.
The room was filled with so much tension as students were preparing to showcase what they
have built throughout their stay in Mita school.
The Heart Behind the Event
At Mita School, we believe growth doesn’t just happen behind screens and textbooks.
It happens when you stand up, speak up, and share your journey.
This event was created to:
✅ Give students a platform to present their projects in front of a live audience
✅ Help them reflect on their learning process where they’ve grown and where they’re still
navigating challenges
✅ Sharpen their public speaking, presentation and marketing skills, a must-have for any
tech career
✅ Celebrate the journey with parents, past students, mentors, and industry guests
And they show up and show out with so much confidence and boldness.
The day opened with a powerful speech from the Chairman/CEO of Mita School, reminding us
all why we do what we do:
To empower African talent to rise, lead, and build solutions that change the world.
He shared stories of growth, grit, and how every line of code, every design sketch, and every
marketing funnel is part of something bigger a tech-powered future where our students lead the charge
.
Then Came the Magic: Student Presentations
One by one, students from across our diverse courses stepped forward, some nervous, some
bold, all passionate.
Each had just 5 minutes to:
● Introduce themselves
● Share how long they’ve been at Mita School
● Reveal what course they’re taking and why they chose it
● Unveil the idea behind their project
● Walk us through what they built, why it matters, and how they built it
From stunning UI/UX designs, data dashboards, and web applications…
To digital marketing campaigns, project roadmaps, and cybersecurity prototypes. the creativity
in that room was electric.
Then came 5 minutes of questions from our expert judges, sparking meaningful
conversations, feedback, and even a few lightbulb moments.
What the Judges Were Watching For
This wasn’t just about “what” was built. It was about how it was presented and how
professionally each student carried themselves.
Judges scored students based on:
Clarity and structure of presentation
Originality and relevance of the project
Confidence, posture, and communication skills
Professional appearance and dressing
Technical understanding of their work
It was a reminder that in the tech world, your presentation can be just as important as your
product.
This Was More Than an Event But A Celebration
Beyond the spotlights, what made this event truly unforgettable was the audience:
Parents beaming with pride
Students cheering the loudest
Current students feeling inspired and challenged
Mentors watching their students grow wings.
Closing Words, Open Futures
As we wrapped up with a heartfelt closing speech, the message was clear:
“This isn’t the end. This is a beginning. You’ve shown us what you can build. Now
go out and build boldly.”

App Development, Cybersecurity, Web3, and AutoCAD — our students proved one thing:
