About Jahno Paul

Jahno Paul is a developer, systems builder, operations strategist, educator, and entrepreneur whose professional journey reflects a continuous progression through technology, education, leadership, business, and organisational operations.

His journey with Mita School began as one of the early students of the institution’s Inter-School programme. Since then, his relationship with the organisation has evolved significantly – from student, to tutor, to a leadership role coordinating tutors and staff, and eventually to his current position in operations management.

This progression has given him a distinctive understanding of organisational development. Having experienced Mita School from the perspective of a learner, educator, team lead, and operations professional, he has developed a strong interest in how people, processes, technology, and strategy can be brought together to build more effective systems.

A significant part of Jahno’s journey has also been his work in teaching and mentorship. Over the years, he has taught and mentored a considerable number of students, many of whom have gone on to take on greater responsibilities within their own learning environments and professional journeys. Some of his former students have progressed to become tutors themselves, while others have gone on to pursue their own businesses, build digital products and systems, and develop independent professional paths. This progression reflects not only his ability to teach technical skills, but also his emphasis on understanding, practical application, confidence, discipline, and independent thinking. His impact as an educator is particularly evident in the fact that many of those he has taught have gone beyond simply completing a course; they have continued to build, teach, lead, and create after their time under his mentorship.

His exposure to emerging technology has also extended into the blockchain ecosystem, where he has participated in and explored a range of hackathons, competitions, and technology initiatives involving ecosystems such as Cardano, Avalanche, and Solana, among others. These experiences have given him practical exposure to emerging technologies, collaborative problem-solving, product development, and the competitive environment surrounding blockchain innovation. Beyond simply learning about blockchain as a technology, these experiences have strengthened his interest in understanding how new technological infrastructure can be transformed into practical products, businesses, and solutions.

His professional interests extend beyond conventional software development. He works across web development, digital systems, product development, business strategy, digital marketing, SEO, operations, education, and entrepreneurship, with a particular interest in understanding problems deeply and developing practical structures around them.

Jahno is also actively involved in entrepreneurial and business-oriented activities outside the technology space, including interests in agriculture, livestock, crop-related ventures, and other commercial projects. These experiences have contributed to a broader understanding of business, execution, client requirements, resource management, and the practical realities of building value.

He has also worked on projects remotely and with clients beyond his immediate environment, giving him exposure to virtual collaboration, international work standards, digital delivery, and the increasingly global nature of technology-driven work.

At Mita School, his development has therefore gone beyond acquiring technical skills. His experience has increasingly placed him at the intersection of technology, people, systems, and execution.

What distinguishes his professional direction is the way he approaches learning and responsibility. Rather than viewing each skill or role in isolation, he tends to connect them – understanding the technology, the process surrounding it, the people involved, the business objective, and the system required to make everything work together.

Mita School recognises Jahno Paul as a product of its own learning ecosystem whose journey has continued to evolve well beyond the classroom – from student to tutor, from tutor to leader, and from learner to builder and operator.

His long-term professional direction reflects an interest in building technology products, businesses, systems, and institutions capable of creating lasting value and opportunities for others.
